Students can dress up if they want to. We will have pizza and drinks. Adults class will end early at 8 instead of 8:30.
Belt stripes will be awarded to those who successfully complete and turn in their assignments.

Taikyoku Shodan
This is the first kata, or form, that you will learn. Taikyoku means "first cause." Shodan means "first level."
Heian Shodan
Heian means "peaceful mind." This is the first of five Heian katas you will learn.
Heian Nidan
This is the second Heian kata. Nidan means "second level."
Heian Sandan
This is the third Heian kata. Sandan means "third level."
Heian Yondan
This is the fourth Heian kata. Yondan means "fourth level."
Heian Godan
This is the fifth and final Heian kata. Godan means "fifth level."
Tekki Shodan
Tekki means "iron horse." This is the first of three Tekki katas.
Tekki Nidan
This is the second Tekki kata.
Tekki Sandan
This is the third Tekki kata.
Bassai Dai
Bassai Dai means" to penetrate the fortress."
Enpi
Enpi means "flying swallow."
Gankaku
Gankaku means "crane on a rock."
Kanku Dai
Kanku Dai means "looking at the sky" or "viewing the sky"
